Jane Land is the co-founder of Veganuary. A former English teacher turned animal advocate, she was horrified to witness the treatment of animals on factory farms and in slaughterhouses. Joining forces with her partner Matthew, they launched the Veganuary campaign in 2014 to inspire and support people to try vegan for the month of January and beyond. Millions of people worldwide have signed up to the pledge but the pair never envisioned the success of the corporate engagement, too. Over the years, the campaign has encouraged vegan product launches and marketing activations by thousands of food businesses around the world. Today Jane continues to guide the charity and shape the strategic vision of Veganuary as the Chair of the Board along with a team of very talented and dedicated trustees.
