Lightning Talks—Effecting Veganism through Education:'Online Education for Anti-speciesism and Veganism'

Dr. Matthew Cole is a Lecturer in Criminology at The Open University. Matthew has spent the past 18 years researching and writing about veganism and anti-speciesism, primarily from a sociological perspective. His first book, Our Children and Other Animals, co-authored with Dr Kate Stewart, explored how children are brought up to accept the exploitation of other animals as 'normal', and therefore to accept veganism as 'abnormal'.
